After the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I moved back to my hometown of Surrey, BC. This book showcases images from places where I spent majority of my childhood and teen years. I spent a lot time exploring these places that have played a significant role in my life. Looking back, these locations remind me of my family and the time we spent at these places created some of the best memories I have with them.

Even though I only lived in Toronto for a short period, visiting to these places after moving back did put them in different light. These places I spent so many hours with my family at, I now visit alone. Although I do not mind it at times, the nostalgia of an easier time does linger.

However, I do also see it as an opportunity of rediscovering these locations and seeing what they meant to me in a new perspective. I now see these places as a way for me to get away from the world to just think. I have started to create new memories that may not be as lively as the old ones, but allow me to move on as an adult and enter this new period of my life.
